order to benchmark MySQL, there are many possibilities. One is the benchmark suite
SysBench
is in the package management of almost all Linux distributions is available. Since I can not remember the syntax I read it here on time: SysBench - test = OLTP - OLTP-table-size = 2000000 - mysql-db = test - mysql-user = root - mysql -password =... creates the necessary tables in the database test.

SysBench - Test = OLTP - OLTP-table-size = 2000000 - mysql-db = test - mysql-user = root - mysql-password =... - max-time = 180
- max-requests = 0 - num-threads = 8 can run the server 3 minutes rumeiern daurauf.

Here is the result of a 1 minute test of 64 HP Dual Xeon 3075 SAS machine with freshly installed Mysql 5.1 "out-of-the-box"

queries performed: read: 263 578 write: 94 135 transactions: 18 827 (313.13 per sec) deadlocks: 0 (0.00 per sec.) read/write requests: 357713 (5949.45 per sec.)
other operations: 37654 (626.26 per sec.) total time: 60.1254s total number of events: 18827 total time taken by event execution: 480.2558
per-request statistics:
min: 3.11ms avg: 25.51ms max: 229.01ms approx. 95 percentile: 25.76ms
Threads fairness:
events (avg/stddev): 2353.3750/0.48
execution time (avg / stddev): 60.0320/0.05
for comparison on a same machine but with only 32 bit OS and SATA drives: OLTP test statistics: queries performed
:
read: 130 228
write: 46 510
other: 18 604
total: 195 342
transactions: 9302 (151.90 per sec)
deadlocks: 0 (0.00 per sec)
read / write requests: 176 738 (2886.15 per sec)
other operations: 18 604 (303.81 per sec)

Test execution summary: total time
: 61.2366s
total number of events: 9302
total time taken by event execution: 489.7876
per-request statistics: min
: 2.58ms avg
: 52.65ms
max: 2857.50ms
approx. 95 percentile: 80.98ms

Threads fairness:
events (avg / stddev): 1162.7500/116.67
execution time (avg / stddev): 61.2235/0.00

So there is a huge difference between 32/64 SAS SATA

Addendum: In Debian there are SysBench not in the repository but has to be compiled from source. For this purpose it is here

a good guide.

Another addendum: here the values of a Simplyroot.de vServer Silver

I Lost Interest In My Male Scorpio

Mysql default with SysBench

Actually, I was just looking for a small, inexpensive wireless router or access point with a standard WLAN client function. As my eye fell on the Edimax BR-6226n of the can be bought at
Reichelt
for only 26,95 €. So I the same first 4 units ordered to try out.

First impression
cheap. The case is reminiscent of the new Fonera. Two non-replaceable antennas.
Small Stand for vertical operation during this period. Rear there is a WLAN switch and a sliding button for WPS and reset. As there are bushes next to the Wan port (no DSL modem) and other 4 LAN ports. For the small body not bad. It is supplied with a 12V 1A power supply. Energy efficient than the WRT54GL.

operating

In the menu of course I immediately searched for the client mode.
Under "General Setup" Wan "Are there in addition to various other modes and the WISP Mode. This stands for Wireles Internet Service Provider. And the best is that it also works. Through a site survey all the available networks are displayed. In the password security still must be added. I have successfully tested the connection both with Fritzbox of WPA and WPA2 with a WRT. The real highlight is the two radio interfaces of this device seems to have. Many devices can run in Wireless Client mode to work but no longer as an access point. I have tentatively set up a new WLAN encryption using WPA on a different channel. Works!

long-term stability

Must be tested yet. The first Device I've tried was directly broken. Presumably, thermal problems. What surprises me even the ventilation slots (presumably for design reasons) under the device. Lack of an appropriate device, but the foot is almost flat on the belly and the vents are thus covered. While there is at mini-adhesive feet, which is tuned stick but probably not. On the sides there are very small ventilation holes.

Support

can forget the manufacturer Edimax. I had updated the firmware on the first device. No longer as a slow corporate servers seen. are the sources for the firmware is also there but thanks to the modest download rate It would take 6 hours with me this download.

802.11n

I Have not tested for lack of hardware. However, should one of the router as a client in a 7270 Fritzbox network. It is only the printer connected thereto.

Summary

A simple functional feasibility of equipment as the Internet if you get separated from their neighbors and will distribute in-house from the neighboring network.

How To Open Smart Bonet

HP Password Reset iLO100

me yesterday the incompetent HP support has driven to madness. If HP its quality does not improve I only use Dell. HP ProLiant DL160G6 New
with built iLO. The devices of the series back DL3xxG5 always hung with the label turn iLO uniqe password. At any 160er was my turn. Even in the Docs nothing was found on the ILO. So called because at HP as the default password would be.

  1. I had someone ask containing are in tune with the servers and the HP Proliant Support in Sofia. Things like me are there happened many times before. This will be even HP's downfall in Germany. The Dutch support in Dublin is great and what they used HP's normal.
